Preschool Ballet Combo Classes
Preschool are amazing classes to introduce dancers to ballet & tap in a family friendly environment. The main focus of combination classes is on students having fun and enjoying dance as an everyday activity.
Ballet & Gymnastics Combo Classes
Combination classes are a great way for students to experience different types of dances in a short amount of instructional time. The main focus of combination classes is on students having fun and enjoying dance as an everyday activity.
Ballet, Jazz & Tap Classes
This combination class focuses on etting students ready to transition from combination type classes to full hour classes in a specific style of dance. Ballet class will include more challenging barre exercises while emphasizing basic terminology. The tap portion of the class will concentrate on developing intricate patterns and rhythms, while the jazz portion of class will begin to develop student's flexibility and balance skills. Some dance experience needed.
Junior & Senior Company Class
Students within this class have demonstrated a readiness for a higher level of work and exploration. Students will explore the element of the day and work on this element through technical exercises and movement across the floor.
Teen & Adult Ballet, Tap, Jazz
Beginner Teen & Adult class - This class is designed to challenge the older beginner student.
Jazz class has a warm up, across the floor exercises, leaps, and turning with an emphasis on spotting. Combinations incorporating various styles of classical jazz movement are taught to create routines with turns, leaps and jumps. Tap is taught using heel work and alternate foot patterns and of course the basics is taught.
Adult Ballet, Jazz & Tap Dance Combo Class
Older Teen & Adult dance instruction in ballet, tap, lyrical and jazz. In our adult programs, there's a place for everybody.
Recreational Class Schedule
Hip Hop Dance Class
These classes teach the fundamentals of hip hop movement. They are upbeat and high energy classes. Stretching, isolations, rhythms, musicality, upper body strength and funky footwork will all be incorporated. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a combination each class. Ages 4 years and up.
Hip Hop CREW Performance
Dancers interested in being a part of the CDA Crew must also be taking a CDA hip hop class. Dancers must be evaluated in the hip hop class and team rehearsals for a series of classes prior to being accepted to compete on the team. The CDA Crew performs at area charity events, recital and regional dance competitions. Ages 5yrs and up. CREW will take a regular schedule hip hop class and one hour of additional technique training on Saturday. Prior to performances or competitions, the CREW may need additional practices.
Adult Hip Hop Dance Classes
Older Teen and Adult hip hop classes teach the fundamentals of hip hop movement. They are upbeat and high energy classes. For adults enrolled in the full combo classes for adults on Tuesday night this class is included with tuition.

Mommy & Me Fun Gym
Mommy & Me Fun Gym – this is family assisted class. This is great bonding time and introduction to fun new things. In this class we will focus on basic positions and skills of gymnastics. We will learn how to take turns, follow a circuit and safely spot our little ones! This class is for students who are 18 months old – 4 years.
Floor Gymnastics / Acro Class
Floor Gymnastics serves as physical and conceptual prerequisite for more advanced gymnastic skills. This class helps students gain strength and flexibility while safely focusing on the three fundamental tumbling skills: balance and support, rotations, and springing and landing. Students will be moved up in class level based on skill NOT age.

Pre-Pointe and Pointe Class
Pointe (Ballet) is for students who have acquired an acceptable level of strength, flexibility, and endurance. Dancing on pointe requires strength and skill and is a central part of a female ballet dancer’s training and repertoire. Placement in this class is at the teacher’s discretion. To be on pointe, a student must take at least one Ballet class.
Turns, Leaps and Conditioning
Turns, Leaps & Conditioning class helps dancers of all levels. The class incorporates movements and techniques from ballet and jazz. This class will focus on increasing students flexibility, and focus on leaps and turns. Dance Experience Needed 7 years and up please.
Specialty Class Schedule
Mini Elite Competition Team
The CDA Mini Competition Team is the gateway of personal growth, confidence and long-term friendships. Mini Competition Team will participate in their regular scheduled combo class and attend one extra practice on Saturdays. Members of this team will perform one or two dances at competition and recital. Mini team begins at the age of 5 years with dance experience.
Pre-Elite and Junior Elite Competition Team
The CDA Pre-Elite and Junior Elite Competition Team pulls from the previous Mini Team and dancers with experience from regular scheduled combo classes. Dancers will take 3 days of technique classes and will perform at competitions and recital. This team offers the opportunity to perform solos, duets and trios. Ages 6 years and above with dance experience. To enhance the performance levels, we recommend 3 additional classes to be selected: TLC, gymnastics, Junior Company, hip hop ($39 for 3 classes & dancer has to pick classes for enrollment.)
Elite Competition Team
The CDA Elite Competition Team offers dancers the opportunity to perform in hip hop, acro / gym, ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz and more. Members of this team will participate in competitions, recitals, local events and charity performances. Dancers are available to perform with solos, duets, trios at this level Based upon dance experience ages 8 years and up. Dancers will practice on Monday, Wed & Saturday with technique.
To enhance performance levels we encourage 3 additional classes: hip hop, floor gymnastics / acro, TLC, Pre-pointe or Pointe, Junior / Senior Company ($39 for the pick 3).
